great concept, but it got old

I thought the game was fantastic for the first few battles, it has a unique fighting mechanic, great art style, and tons of levels.
But after a while I realized that every battle is EXACTLY the same, and it got boring. You spin over and over and nothing else happens. The battles dont even get any harder as you progress.The only difference Ive seen is that occasionally youll find an enemy that wears a hat.
There needs to be some sort of variety for me to continue being interested.
